“A violation of trust,” it began,
“a violation? Ha!” mocks the brain.
A rape of privacy,
a bludgeoning of friendship!
The only words that fit: negative.
The mouth feels hot with anger,
the words pour out like venom,
go on and tell yourself that this is not totaled.
A stomach clenches it’s dinner,
a jaw sets itself: tense.
With all this a simple “sorry”
will never do and through and through
a part of it will forever be broken.
Tell yourself this mind will keep something,
to keep it together: forever you will be
Fucking Wrong.
