Hello everyone and thanks for visiting!
This site is meant to provide as much information and support as possible to help communities who struggle due to life circumstances not everyone faces. What is not as apparent is where the motivation to start TMR came from. Our founder, Jing Wu, was where our vision began.
Many people have asked about Jing’s story. They want to know how she has been able to chase her dreams regardless of what life has given her. For those who have or continue to experience chronic trauma and stigma, it can be difficult to share more intimate and personal experiences with others.
Individuals within a trauma-stricken community can find it hard to participate in what many would consider typical life experiences. One goal of TMR is to help those community members with persistent trauma or stigma to experience a life outside of their safety net and cultivate greater perspectives of the world. An example of how this would work in practice would be a teenage brain injury survivor living in a rural area being able to experience opportunities outside of their local community in order to learn and grow as a person.
We can learn so much from new experiences ourselves, but also from listening to other experiences. One way we at TMR are looking to combine the two is through sales from a new book The MindReset story, a memoir of sorts, highlighting the journey Jing has gone through from the date of her accident ten years ago. This book will be a powerful undertaking and a way to share the ups and downs of a journey of self-discovery and progress in an effort to help others grow as well. The proceeds from Jings story will go towards supporting TMR as an organization and to help provide those experiences that can change the trajectory of someone’s healing journey.
Now we do have a couple asks of you all, the community at large. Below are a few different links to check out if you would like to support the purpose and vision of Jing’s MindReset story.

The MindReset (TMR) is about empowering individuals who struggle by providing them with supportive communities focused on growth and healing. The organization stems from Jing Wu, the founder, and her mission to return the kindness bestowed upon her during her difficult healing journey as a severe traumatic brain injury survivor. Life-changing events can happen at any time during our lives…
It could be a car accident, an unexpected diagnosis, a discovery of a love for another person of the same sex, a loss of a family member or friend, bankruptcy, or really any transformation into an identity that you may or may not want.
How would you like your community to be if you or someone you loved became one of those individuals who hits a road bump in life?
Read more about the trials and successes of individuals who are working through their own journeys or exploring the status quo. Get ready to be invigorated by stories of humanity and the incredible healing powers of practicing compassion.
Even though this blog was started by a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivor, the contributors come from all different backgrounds: those who have lived through or live with a challenging circumstance, to those who have relatively comfortable lives but have great compassion for those who struggle. Everyone’s goal is to help those who are really struggling, struggle a little less.
This blog centers on how to build RESILIENCE, HOPE, & SUPPORT within our communities.
